Mixed Colour Blends
An individual and more complex effect can be achieved by mixing Dreadnought tiles of different colours together. Experience has shown that the more successful blends are those where there is a dominance of one colour rather than being mixed 50:50. It is the variable but controlled shades of permanent natural clay colours that produce the distinctive character and quality of a Dreadnought Roof and make the Mixed Colour Blends so appealing and popular. Because the colours are achieved without stains or artificial pigments, Dreadnought tiles exhibit the varied properties of natural burnt clay colours and this is what makes them blend so effectively.
To commemorate 200 years of Dreadnought, 3 new mixed colour blends have been launched; they are a product of Dreadnought's long experience of blending roof tile colours. The Trafalgar, Nelson and Collingwood Blends are a statement of quality, these blended tiles instantly proclaim a building of quality and distinction.
Dreadnought tile blends can be supplied pre-mixed on the pallet in the quantities and colours ready to be laid on the roof. As the tiles are pre-mixed, valuable time is saved on site and additional savings are made as waste is reduced when laying. |
