Case Study - Hatchford Park
Clay Roof Tile: Dreadnought Country Brown
Developers: Latchmere Properties and Countryside Properties
Background
Hatchford Park has been restored twice in recent year. During the final stages of its initial restoration and conversion into apartments, fire razed it almost to the ground. This Grade II* listed mansion on the Cobham/Ockham borders in Surrey has been almost totally rebuilt by joint partners Latchmere Properties and Countryside Properties.
Background
With the fire damage almost destroying the building the challenge was to rebuild and decorate the building to match the original design and reproduce a great deal of the detail that existed with this tudor-style building.
Solution
This magnificent Tudor-style mansion once again provides 13 gracious two bedroom apartments and the building has retained its listed status. Inside, developers have reinstated the extensive oak pannelling and beautiful decorative plaster ceilings that resemble the original designs
