Clean Slate Ltd are a developer of high quality homes in the South, and their recent project, St Mary's Hill in Hurstbourne Priors lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty,   This development of 44 new homes on land that was previously a scrap yard, provides a mix of detached, semi detached and terraced housing surrounding a village green.  Each property is different, using a different mix of materials.  The developers have explored the surrounding pretty, rural villages and incorporated some of the same traditional features at St Mary's Hill, including both clay and thatched roofs, ornamental hanging tiles, flint and brick detail as well as some timber cladding.

Clean Slate Ltd use a variety of materials at their high end development in rural St Marys Hill

Clean Slate Ltd place great value on adding detail to a project.  They have used a range of different bond patterns for the brickwork, a range of different  bricks and a selection of different coloured clay roof tiles.  Vertical tiling, timber cladding and flint detail all add interest and the developers have even added a buttress wall to one of the properties!  Dreadnought Tiles were ideal for this project as they have the widest  range of natural clay colours, and it was the variety and detail using quality materials that would give the development it's character and village feel.   Clean Slate use british manufacturers where they can, and sustainability is a key driver in both their designs and material selection.

the use of different roof tile colours by Clean Slate Ltd at St Marys Hill adds to the village feeling of this new development
