Tiling Guides    

These Tiling Guides were produced by the Technical Committee of what used to be the Clay Roofing Tile Council (CRTC).  This committee consisted of the 5 principal UK Clay Roof Tile Manufacturers, Eternit Building Materials Ltd, Dreadnought Tiles, Keymer Tiles Ltd, Redland Ltd and Sandtoft Roof Tiles Ltd, who manufactured 90% of the UK's clay roof tiles.  However it no longer exists and has been replaced by the Roof Tile Association or RTA.

These tiling guides are in pdf format and provide clear and illustrated instructions on how to tile pitch roofs in plain clay tiles and how  vertical tiling is best carried out and these are still the principal guides in the industry for roofers and builders.
